January 6, 2022 (Fountain Valley, CA) – blueviolet Networks welcomes the new year with new resources that will extend and create a more powerful network for all current and future blueviolet Network customers.

We are excited to announce we have been acquired by Cook & Boardman, a leading specialty distributor that specializes in security and technology services. Since 1979, we have put our customers and their needs at the forefront of what we do. We are ecstatic to join the Cook and Boardman Family of companies, which will allow us even more resources and opportunity to service our clients with superior service.

Established in 1955, Cook & Boardman serves the Healthcare and Multi-family construction markets as well as Commercial Construction, K-12 School Systems, Colleges & Universities, Institutional and Governmental facilities from more than fifty locations across the country and nationwide. C&B’s culture fits seamlessly with our own at BVN which is driven by market leading products and application at the highest quality and service available.

blueviolet Networks day-to-day service will not change, and service will not be disrupted due to the acquisition. BVN will continue to operate under the blueviolet Networks name and customer contacts will remain unchanged. In the coming months we will communicate all the benefits and new services and capabilities we will be able to offer.

BVN became the first Californian facility in the Cook & Boardman West Coast expansion and the fifteenth acquisition since October 2018.
